Tsubo Women's Anush Pump

Tsubo Women's Anush Pump

Be prim and proper, but with a modern twist. These Tsubo Women's Anush Pumps feature leather uppers, adorned with graceful pleat embellishments for an unforgettable effect. A rubber sole brings steady wearability, and a steep heel adds dramatic height. Perfect with your upscale-casual attire, these striking pumps invite you to showcase your unique style.

These shoes are adorable shape-wise. If you're not in the market for a red shoe, then by all means, have at 'em. Unfortunately, the "cherry/flame" color is closer to brown than red. I'd call these shoes burnt sienna. They're just not that attractive a color. They do fit nicely and seem fairly wearable. I will say, however, that I have the Tsubo Rynin ankle boots (in black), which are the same style as these shoes but in ankle boots instead. They are quite nice, but my feet did hurt after an hour or so of standing-- very little cushioning or support in the forefoot. Perhaps with some kind of insert they would be more comfortable. One other issue with both these shoes is that, while the tread is excellent under the forefoot, the heel has no traction. It's just a hard piece of plastic, which makes your heel easily slide around on many surfaces. It's annoying that many shoe companies seem to disregard the heel as a part of the foot that needs stability and traction as well. You have to be careful walking in these and remember the heel is slippery, because it is quite easy to lose your footing (and I swear I'm a pretty coordinated person.) Anyway- good luck!
